About The Catapult Program

Catapult is a form of interactive programming utilized by Spark Tank members and clients to provide comprehensive group counseling in a one stop shop format. Catapult is the front door for any entrepreneur or business owner who wants to connect with Spark Tank members. Entrepreneurs and business owners can present their business models and receive feedback from experienced (and vetted) mentors, service providers, and entrepreneurs who have specific knowledge or expertise in their area of concern.

The Application Window is always open!

Are you a startup that’s looking to get connected with a group of entrepreneurs, business counselors, and mentors who can help you move forward with your venture? Maybe you’re already in business and would like to find a group of proficient experts who are able to give you guidance on how to qualify and implement the “next steps” for your organization. If so, then Catapult may be the program that you’re looking for. Catapult is the front door for any entrepreneur or business owner who wants to connect and get feedback from those who have demonstrated track records of success in business.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to present your business idea to a captive audience of experts who can help you propel your business forward. Catapult events are scheduled monthly which means that the application window never closes.

Applicants will be selected to present their concept to a captive group of resources providers, entrepreneurs, coaches, and mentors. The outcome is all about giving those who are fortunate enough an opportunity to connect with an individual who has the skill set to provide key information and guidance. It’s all about building relationships!

It was such an awesome group of people, and I left the event just feeling so pumped to be part of Asheville’s entrepreneurial community. It really was an amazing experience and I can’t thank you enough for the time and effort you put in to make it happen. I’m already in touch with the fine folks at the WWBC, and have been connecting with others as well - and that’s only possible because of Catapult.

Program participants don’t have to currently be in business, although they must have a valid business concept. They must have already connected with an economic development resource provider who is a Spark Tank, Inc partner. Participants must have the ability to articulate how their idea can help, or has helped, solve a problem. They also need to have a clear idea of the type of assistance that they need from the group.

This program is being provided with the support of Spark Tank, Inc. and its economic development partners.
